Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1 Medium onion chopped
- 1 Butternut squash peeled and cubed 1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
- 6 cups Broth or water
- Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste

Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot. Add garlic and onions and sauté about 3 minutes.
- Add squash and sweet potato. Sauté for 3 minutes, add water. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Purée. Return to heat and allow soup to thicken.
- Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
