Ingredients
- 1 cup Steamed seaweed
- 1 Pork loin (about 200g or 7 oz)
- 1/2 cup Carrot about 1 carrot
- 1/2 cup Wax gourd melon
- 2 teaspoon Canola oil
- 1/8 teaspoon Sichuan pepper powder
- 1 stalk Green onion
- 1 slice Ginger root
- 1 teaspoon Low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar
- 5 cups Water
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
- Wash the seaweed, steam it in a steamer. Then cut it into small pieces.
- Wash the loin under running water. Pat dry then dice the pork. Place the pork in a pot of cold water then boil for 3 minutes. Drain the meat and rinse under water.
- Cut the carrots and melon into small pieces.
- Heat a pan, pour in the oil, then add the peppercorns and sauté. Add the green onion and ginger, and pour in the soy sauce and vinegar.
- Add the pork tenderloin into the pan, stir fry for one minute. Add in the kelp and carrots, and continue to stir fry a few times.
- Add 5 cups of water, boil, turn to low heat and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the melon, cook for another 10 minutes, then add salt into the pan.
