Grilled Turkey Breast Sandwich
Ingredients
  • 12oz Turkey breast
  • 4tbsp Olive oil
  • 1pinch Salt and pepper
  • 8slices Whole-wheat bread
  • 4slice Low-fat Swiss cheese
  • 4 Large leaf romaine lettuce
  • 8slices Tomato
Sauce
  • 4tbsp Low-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 2tsp Sriracha sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Marinade for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  3. Grill turkey each side of the turkey breast for 7-8 minutes. Allow the turkey breast cool to room temperature.
  4. For the sauce, combine the Greek yoghurt and sriracha sauce. Spread on each slice of bread. For each sandwich, add 3 oz (1 quantity) turkey, 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 romaine lettuce, and 2 tomato slices.

Tired of having chicken? How about a lean cut of turkey? This is an excellent lunch. For a healthy plate, pair up this sandwich with the Cuban Roasted Broccoli. Quench your and your family’s thirst with a glass of water. To achieve 2-3 CHO servings, enjoy ¾ cup low-fat Greek yoghurt with a handful of berries.
