Chicken and Green Bean Stir-fry
Ingredients
Chicken and marinade
  • 1cup (180g) Skinless chicken thigh
  • 1/8teaspoon Sichuan pepper powder
  • 2teaspoons Low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/8teaspoon Garlic or garlic powder
Vegetables
  • 2cups Green beans
  • 1stalk Green onion
  • 2slices Ginger root
  • 2teaspoons Low sodium soy sauce
  • 2teaspoons Canola oil
  • 1cup Water
Instructions
  1. Chopped or minced chicken, marinated with pepper powder, soy sauce and garlic powder for about 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the green beans, green onions and ginger slices.
  3. Heat the wok, add 1 teaspoon of oil, add the marinated chicken, stir fry for about 6 minutes, and remove the chicken from the wok.
  4. Put 1 teaspoon of oil in the pan, add the green onion and ginger, and pour 2 teaspoons of soy sauce.
  5. Add the green beans and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Add 1 cup of water and cook for about 15 minutes.
  7. Pour the chicken back into the wok, stir fry for a while, then plate the dish.

Tip: Instead of green beans, you can use chopped celery (1 cup) and chopped carrots (1 cup) OR 2 chopped green bell peppers OR 1 chopped red pepper plus cashews (ΒΌ cups)
